The quartz tube and rod extended fire lathe is mainly used for the collapsing of the outer quartz tube and the inner core rod of the optic fiber prefabricated rod at high temperature. Its purpose is to match the core-cladding ratio of the optic fiber and increase the diameter of the prefabricated rod. The quartz tubing machine also has the functions of welding, cleaning, drying, stretching, tapering, polishing of the quartz tube and rod. The software of this equipment is independently developed, with expandable function, simple and convenient to operate.

• Integral casting of the lathe, making the equipment high rigidity and stable structure
• The equipment is provided with process gases such as PO₂, PN₂, Cl₂,SiF₆, CDA and combustion gases such as GO₂, H₂, GN₂. Other special gas systems can be also optional according to the process requirements
• Special glass blowtorch with oxygen and hydrogen flame, with stable and simple structure. No water cooling system is required

• With functions including online temperature measurement of tube and rod, diameter measurement a swell as flame detection of blowtorch head
